Voice 2007 – Off and running!
The Montreal International Musical
Competition, Voice 2007 begins on May 23 at 2:30 p.m. in Salle
Pierre-Mercure at the Centre Pierre-Péladeau. The opening round
of the Competition, the semi-finals, runs until May 26 and
presents 32 singers from eleven countries.
The semi-final programme
• The imposed Canadian work by Julien Bilodeau
• A song or group of songs in French
• A song or group of songs in German
• Two operatic arias, including one from a pre-1800 opera
