Marianne Fiset at London and Paris
Marianne Fiset, who was just recently
named the First Grand Prize Winner of the Montreal International
Musical Competition, Voice 2007, will soon be giving two
recitals – in London on June 25, and in Paris on June 30.
These concerts are made possible thanks to the collaboration of
the Délégations générales du Québec in London and in Paris, in
the context of the Joseph Rouleau Award (for the Best Artist
from Quebec).

French Senate, as part of “Musique Sénat” – a series of concerts
organized to promote talented young artists and ensembles,

In addition to the First Grand Prize at the MIMC and the
Joseph Rouleau Award, Marianne Fiset also won the Jean A.
Chalmers Award (for the Best Canadian Artist), the Poulenc
French Song Award, the People’s Choice Award (“Tribute to
Léopold Simoneau”). June 1, she won more than half of the
bursary, $49,000 on $97,500.
