Carlos Avila’s career as a performer includes
appearances with numerous orchestras and a long-time
relationship with the San Francisco Symphony in chamber
music collaborations, coaching, performances, and other
events. He has appeared in recitals and concerts in
Germany, Italy, Holland, Spain, Japan, South Korea,
Canada, Chile and the United States. He replaced Stewart
Goodyear on 24-hours’ notice in Rachmaninoff’s Con certo
