Born September 20, 1987


Julia Chaplina gave her debut performance at the age of 7, with the Rostov State Symphony Orchestra. Julia’s debut CD recording – of the solo piano works of Badarzewska – was made in Japan in 2007. Subsequently, a documentary was made about her musical life by the Japanese Broadcasting Corporation. She recently gave concerto performances with the Hiroshima and Sendai Symphony Orchestras, and appeared as concerto soloist in the Berliner Philharmoniker.
