Shih-Wei Chen was born in Tauyuan, Taiwan. At the age of
sixteen, he went to study in Germany where he gave many
recitals and concerts. In 2007, after having given
notable performances of the Liszt concertos with the
National Symphony Orchestra and the Taipei Philharmonic
Orchestra, he recorded his first commercial album by EMI
Asia. Recently, he was invited to perform with the Palm
Beach Symphony at the International Piano Festival in
West Palm Beach, Florida.
