BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
Twenty-three-year-old
Henry Kramer is establishing himself as a musician of
rare sensitivity. He has appeared with the Portland
String Quartet, the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and the
University of Miami Frost School of Music Orchestra. He
has given recitals in Boston, Seattle, Spain, and
Canada. At Juilliard, he is the recipient of the Ida
Artzt Scholarship in piano, the Carl Roeder Prize, the
Susan W. Rose Piano Fellowship and a teaching fellowship
in the piano minor department. This summer, he will
participate in the prestigious Ferruccio Busoni
Competition in Bolzano, Italy as one of 24 pianists
invited to compete based on a rigorous pre-selection
process.
