South Korea
Born January 14, 1988


Jong Ho Won was born in Seoul, South Korea, and started to play piano at the age of four. He first studied at the Sun-Hwa Arts School with professor Kim Keum Tae, who worked extensively on improving his performance skills. Jong Ho Won then left South Korea to pursue graduate studies in Freiburg, Germany, where he was awarded a special interpretation prize at the Arthur Lepthien Competition. He currently studies in Munich at the Conservatory there.
