BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Maria Azova made her debut as a soloist at the age of twelve with the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan. She has also performed with the State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, the Bacau Philharmonic, the Frankfurt Rhein-Main Youth Philharmonic, and the Baden-Baden Philharmonic. She plays a violin made by Januarius Gagliano in 1780, on loan from the instrument collection of Baden-Württemberg
