BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

In 2005, Mateusz Smól performed with both Leganica and Poznań Philharmonic Orchestras, and in 2006, he played in the opening ceremony at XI International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Maker Competition in Poznań. In 2008, he played the premiere of the Janusz Stalmierski Violin Concerto with the Czestochowa Philharmonic Orchestra. He plays a French violin made by a member of Frebinet family in the late 18th century.
