BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

In 2002, Chieri Tomii won First Prize in the 56th Annual All-Japan Student Music Competition in Tokyo at the age of ten. She performed a solo concert at the Togakushi-Iizuna Music Festival in Nagano, and has attended master classes at the Ishikawa Music Academy in Japan, the Euro Music Festival in Leipzig, and the Orford Arts Centre in Quebec.
