Nicolas Delclaud obtained
his graduate degree in music from the Conservatoire de
Paris, where he was unanimously awarded first prize for
violin in the class of Gérard Jarry. He represented
France at the Eurovision Competition for young musicians
in 1994 and won first prize at the Épernay String
Competition in 1993. He has given recitals in Paris,
Lyon, Toulouse and Japan, notably as part of a tour
organized in 2004 by the Alcadia Agency. Nicolas
Delclaud was first solo violin with the Orchestre
OstinatO of Paris
and has been a member of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic
Orchestra since April 2000.
