Yusuke HAYASHI

Yusuke Hayashi began studying violin at the age of four and won a number of music competitions in Japan shortly thereafter. In 2000, he became the youngest laureate of the 69th Japan Violin Competition. He also won the International String Competition of Upbeat in Hvar, Croatia, in 2003, the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists in 2004 and the Romano Romanini International Competition of Brescia that same year. In 2005, he was awarded first prizes at the Dr. Luis Sigall International Competition in Chile and the Stefanie-Hohl Violin Competition in Vienna. Since 2003, Yusuke Hayashi has been living in Vienna and studying with Dora Schwarzberg at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts.
