Elizaveta Shnayder began
her career as a soloist under the batons of her teacher
Mihail Gantvarg and Saulius Sondeckis. In 1995, she
joined the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, conducted by
Claudio Abbado. She became a pupil of Tibor Varga in
Sion, while continuing to study performance with Victor
Pikaïzen, Francesco de Angelis, Sherry Kloss, Ulf
Hoelscher, Zakar Bron and Vladimir Spivakov. In 2001,
she won second prize at the Tibor Varga International
Competition. In 2005, she was guest soloist with the
St-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra and toured nine
German cities with the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn
conducted by Heribert Beissel.
