The 5th Edition of the
Montreal International Musical Competition has not only
attracted some of the world’s most talented up-and-coming young
violinists, it also proudly welcomes a panel of judges composed
of some of the most eminent figures from the world of music.
These judges are responsible for determining and rewarding the
most deserving candidates, and thus have complete discretion in
selecting the winners and awarding the prizes. As such, the jury
reserves the right to not attribute prizes for which it finds no
suitable candidate. All decision of the jury are final. Click on
the scrolldown menu to find out more about the judges on the
jury of the 2006 Violin Edition.
