Le Concours, côté balcon

September 2020 – This summer throughout our city, courtyards and balconies transformed into outdoor stages. In keeping with the times, the CMIM invited five former prize winners and loyal friends to come and perform on the front steps of our headquarters on the avenue of Mont-Royal.

Le Concours, côté balcon was an opportunity to celebrate music and make it resonate in our neighborhood. These concerts freed music from the online world which the arts have been confined to for months, releasing it back into real life like a breath of fresh air. This festive series of close encounters gave rise to beautiful reunions and discoveries that awakened our senses and touched our hearts.

Le Concours, côté balcon, is the expression of our desire to spread music and to  reunite with our talented artists, while reaching out to our neighbours.
