2022: Born in Le Creusot, France, soprano Dania El Zein brings her varied stage experience to Voice 2022. Her work in baroque repertoire has meant collaborations with specialist groups like the Orchestre Opera Fuoco<\/em> and Ensemble le Capriccio Fran\u00e7ais<\/em>, and she has brought Handel\u2019s Serse <\/em>as far as Beijing.<\/p>\nShe balances the baroque with operatic roles in Korngold\u2019s Die tote Stadt<\/em>, Donizetti\u2019s La Fille du r\u00e9giment<\/em>, and Offenbach\u2019s obscure and witty one-acts, A Husband at the Door <\/em>and Mr. Cauliflower Will Be At Home On\u2026<\/em><\/p>\nEl Zein arrives in Montreal as a semi-finalist of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, and a prize winner of both the Concours International de Chant baroque de Froville and the Concours International de la M\u00e9lodie de Toulouse.<\/p>\n
