In 2018, Gabriele Strata won first prize at the XXXV Premio Venezia, the prestigious Italian competition. In 2021, he was awarded by Teatro La Fenice the historical \u201cPremio Una Vita nella Musica giovani\u201d for his artistic achievements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gabriele regularly performs on the world\u2019s most renowned stages, including concerto appearances with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin at the Berliner Philharmonie, in London\u2019s Barbican Centre and Cadogan Hall, in Cardiff\u2019s St. David\u2019s Hall with the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra, and in Mumbai\u2019s National Centre for Performing Arts with Chamber Orchestra of India, working with conductors such as Roberto Tibiri\u00e7\u00e1, Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, Baldur Br\u00f6nnimann, Andreas Wittmann, and Hans Richter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An avid chamber musician, he has played at Wigmore Hall and Milton Court Concert Hall in London, Lincoln Center in New York, and has premiered chamber music works by Academy Award-nominee Thomas Newman and Pulitzer Prize-finalist Kate Soper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gabriele received his Master of Music degree from Yale University at the age of 19, as well as a Master of Musical Arts degree under the guidance of Professor Boris Berman. He then obtained Artist Diplomas degrees from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia cum laude and special honours, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Benedetto Lupo and Ronan O\u2019Hora respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n
