Andr\u00e9 Bachand Award for the best performance of a Canadian work<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Born in Mariupol, Ihor Mostovoi studied theatre and popular song in Ukraine before training in opera at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University and \u00c9cole Normale de Musique \u00ab Alfred Cortot \u00bb de Paris.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He has appeared on the stages of Op\u00e9ra National de Paris, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet, Op\u00e9ra National du Rhin, Op\u00e9ra de Lyon, Op\u00e9ra de Bordeaux, Lincoln Center (New York), The Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), and other major venues in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ihor is a member of Young Artist Program of Op\u00e9ra National de Paris where he has appeared in the roles of Le Fauteuil in Ravel\u2019s <\/span>L\u2019enfant et les sortil\u00e8ges<\/span><\/i> at Op\u00e9ra Garnier and Frank Maurrant in Weill\u2019s <\/span>Street Scene. <\/span><\/i>Recently in Montreal, he has given a recital at Salle Bourgie, and performed with Orchestre classique de Montr\u00e9al, both in concerts featuring the music of Ukraine. Upcoming engagements include Leporello in <\/span>Don Giovanni<\/span><\/i> in Singapore, a concert tour with Opera for Peace, and an exchange program with the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Program<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
