Ricardo Garcia is a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Darmstadt where his roles include Andres in <\/span>Wozzeck<\/span><\/i>, Nemorino in <\/span>L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore<\/span><\/i>, the Steuermann in <\/span>Tristan und Isolde<\/span><\/i>, Oronte in <\/span>Alcina<\/span><\/i>, Alfredo in <\/span>La traviata<\/span><\/i>, Lenski in <\/span>Eugene Onegin<\/span><\/i>, and Cassio in <\/span>Otello<\/span><\/i>. This season, he also performs Tamino in <\/span>Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/span><\/i> with Florida Grand Opera and joins the New World Symphony as the Father in Weill\u2019s <\/span>Seven Deadly Sins<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Garcia performed Fabrizio Naccarelli in <\/span>The Light in the Piazza<\/span><\/i> and Rom\u00e9o in <\/span>Rom\u00e9o et Juliette<\/span><\/i> with Central City Opera, a role he repeated for Boston Lyric Opera. Ricardo Garcia has also performed at Music Academy of the West and with Tulsa Opera, and was a Butler Studio Artist of Houston Grand Opera, a Resident Artist of Portland Opera, an Apprentice Artist at Santa Fe Opera, and a Studio Artist at Wolf Trap Opera. He earned his Master of Music Degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
