Biography 2018: Born in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine, Ruslana studied at the Kyiv Conservatory with Maria Stefiuk. In 2014, she earned a Master\u2019s degree in vocal performance.<\/p>\n
From 2014- 2017, Ruslana was a member of the Young Artist Program of the Bolshoi Theatre where she performed Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro<\/em>, in A Voice from Heaven<\/em>, Thibault in Don Carlo<\/em>, Lisa in Somnabula<\/em>, Frasquita in Carmen<\/em> and Brigitta in Iolanta<\/em>. She took part in numerous chamber concerts in the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre performing Russian, French and German art songs. Her repertoire also includes Violetta in La Traviata<\/em>, Despina in Cos\u00ec fan Tutte<\/em>, Marfa in The Tsar\u2019s Bride<\/em> and the title role in The Snow Maiden<\/em> by Rimsky-Korsakov.<\/p>\nIn 2017, Ruslana was a finalist at two prestigious vocal contests: Operalia and the Queen Sonja International Music Competition.<\/p>\n
