Baritone

 

2022: American baritone Bryan Murray is ready to show his skills in recital in this year’s Concours. In recent years, the New York-born Murray has sung at the Venice Biennale and as far as Tokyo’s Bunka Kaikan concert hall. Prior to the shutdown, Bryan had a contract with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where he racked up small roles in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Bizet’s Carmen, and Rossini’s The Barber of Seville.

A graduate of the Yale School of Music, Murray has excelled in competition. In 2019 he took first prize in the Talents of the World competition and the grand prize in the NYIOP International Vocal Competition.
